FORCES UNITED - the Watford and district Veterans & Armed Forces hub present this incredible, award winning one man play “Battle Cry”.
Set in a hospital waiting area, this gripping and emotional play is a performance not to be missed by anyone who wants to understand the triggers and traumas a Veteran can encounter and what PTSD means.
After the play you are invited to a special meet and greet with the actor, Steve Cowley as well as Luther Blissett OBE DL. There will be a chance to hear about Forces United - and to talk to Herts charity Minds At War about the needs for NHS mental health support for veterans.
This special performance is a partnership between “Battle Cry” , Forces United (the Armed Forces & Veterans one stop hub for Watford and beyond) and Minds at War, the charity owned and run by a Veteran to support veterans in crisis and at risk of suicide .
You will be able to board the Minds at War “Battle Bus” a support vehicle is being created to change lives and save lives .
