Watford’s MP Dean Russell welcomed local Community Champion to Number 10 at an event organised by the Prime Minister’s office to celebrate those who make constituencies across the country a better place to live and work. MPs were invited to nominate a Community Champion and Dean put forward Enoch Kanagaraj, who is the Founder and Chief Executive of Watford based charity One Vision. Dean was pleased to introduce Enoch to the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak. Speaking after the event Dean said that “It was a wonderful opportunity to bring together Community Champions from across the UK and give us a chance to thank them for the enormous contribution they make to the communities we represent. It was a pleasure to be able to bring Enoch to Number 10, I don’t think there is a day when he is not doing something to help those around him. He is always willing to help whoever asks and does not seek recognition or praise. On behalf of Watford I would like to thank Enoch for all of the fantastic work that he does through One Vision and its various initiatives.” Community Champion Enoch added that “I am humbled and honoured to be nominated as a Community Champion by our local MP Dean Russell at No10 Downing Street. I am proud of representing Watford and I am just so pleased the One Vision charity has been able to help many people in Watford. I would not be here at without the support of the volunteers, family and friends.”
