Dr. Niall Keenan, a highly accomplished and dedicated cardiologist, has been nominated by Dean Russell MP to be celebrated as a local NHS champion at a reception held at Number 10 Downing Street.
With an impressive background in cardiology, Dr. Keenan has made significant contributions to the field through his specialised training, research, and clinical practice.
Dr. Keenan's journey began with his qualification from Oxford University in 2001. He then pursued further training in cardiology and general medicine in London, where he honed his expertise. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to advancing his knowledge and skills in various areas of cardiac imaging, including specialised training and research in cardiac MRI at the Royal Brompton Hospital, cardiac CT at the London Chest Hospital, and echocardiography at prestigious institutions such as Hammersmith Hospital in London and Hospital Bichat in Paris.
Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Keenan is an individual with diverse interests and a commitment to serving the community. He actively participates in charities dedicated to assisting the sick and marginalised, exemplifying his compassion and dedication to improving the lives of others.
