Man Made is a unique weekly support group dedicated to men’s mental health, and recently launched in Watford with the support of local MP Dean Russell.
Man Made is a men's mental health support group providing a safe and non-judgmental space for men to openly discuss mental health struggles. They offer weekly support sessions and organise events to promote positive mental health. A team of dedicated volunteers are passionate about helping men overcome societal pressures that force self-reliance and stoicism. They welcome anyone facing anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues to join. The launch night took place at Leavesden Country Park and offered an opportunity for men to connect, share experiences, and receive support.
Speaking at the event Dean said that “It was great to see the community come together to discuss men’s mental health and foster a supportive community. It was a really positive evening, and it was wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout. As I have said before, we should be talking more and encouraging men to talk more about the challenges they face.
The challenge for many is that they are not asking and are not looking for support, because they do not always know where to go for it, which is why it was so important for me to support Man Made at their launch event.”
