Dean Russell was pleased to return to Watford Shopmobility to draw their Christmas raffle. Shopmobility Watford is a local charity that has existed since 1994. They loan wheelchairs and scooters to individuals with a mobility problem, whether permanent or temporary, to help them to get around town independently.
This important service can be accessed for free in Watford Town Centre (from Watford Museum to Watford Town Hall) including the Atria Shopping Centre. The users of this service greatly value the additional independence and freedom that this gives them to go about their daily lives.
Following his visit Dean said: “It was great to have the opportunity to return to Shopmobility Watford to further support the great work that they do. I know that the service that they provide means so much to those that use it.”
