During my time as Minister, I was pleased to introduce this landmark piece of legislation, the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill, which will end the special status of retained EU Law, ensuring the UK reclaims the sovereignty of Parliament, to restore primacy to Acts of Parliament.
This is what the British people voted for and what I wholeheartedly support.
We need to take back control of our laws and rights, and I believe this has been accurately demonstrated with the recent support for bills to improve maternity rights, carer's leave and employment rights as seen with my own Tips Bill.
