As Ukraine celebrates its Independence Day, I joined colleagues, friends and Ukrainian people who live in the Watford area to attend a flag raising ceremony. I spoke at the event and paid tribute to the Ukrainian people who have made a strong community here in Watford.
To date, more than 119 Ukrainians have arrived in the UK after being granted a visa to live with a host in Watford.
Ukraine, we stand with you today as your partner, ally and friend.
