Dean Russell MP extended his gratitude to Hand on Heart for their dedication to assisting individuals facing homelessness in various parts of the UK. In Watford, the numbers experiencing homelessness remain low, thanks to the investment and support efforts. Hand on Heart plays a crucial role in providing essential backpacks containing new clothing and toiletries to asylum seekers and those in need. Every September, they distribute school bags to children from families on low incomes.
Dean has been working with Hand on Heart for several years and has witnessed firsthand the remarkable commitment of the organisation's volunteers to making a positive impact on the lives of others. He recently had the opportunity to join the dedicated volunteers over the weekend, participating in the packing of bags that will soon be distributed to those in need.
Dean also shared a video featuring his conversation with Afzal Pradhan BEM, the Director of Development and Planning for Hand on Heart. In the video, they discuss the organisation's mission and the invaluable work they do to support vulnerable individuals.
Dean highlighted that Hand on Heart is continually seeking support from businesses and individuals to further their essential work. If you wish to contribute or learn more about their initiatives, please visit their website at www.handonhearttrust.com.
