Tonight, Dean voiced community and residents concerns in Parliament regarding the redevelopment of the Kytes Residential Estate by Anchor Hanover.
The estate was originally built to provide suitable and accessible homes for disabled ex-servicemen, and until recently was protected by a legally binding covenant. Dean therefore introduced a petition to reflect the concerns of residents and enforce the developers assurances that the Kytes Estate will continue to offer purpose-built and well-maintained accommodation for individuals over the age of 55, those with disabilities, veterans, and their families.
Dean is very grateful to all the residents who have contacted him on this important issue. It is absolutely paramount that the commitments for the long term are formalised in order to give residents peace of mind.
