Prime Minister Boris Johnson was delighted to congratulate the winner of Dean Russell’s 2021 Christmas Card competition.
The competition was open to all Watford primary schools and a number of local organisations. The winning design was submitted by Adhar, who is a service user of Cathartic, a creative arts organisation offering support to the most vulnerable in our community to enrich health and wellbeing and inspire confidence and artistic ability.
Dean Russell said “Cathartic does fantastic work with local children living with physical and neurological impairments and/or learning difficulties.
“There were so many fantastic entries, but Adhar’s really stood out. He is clearly a very talented artist and the Prime Minister was really impressed with his work, he loved it so much he requested a copy of the finished product. I would like to thank every child that submitted an entry, picking a winner was not easy but I really enjoyed going through all of the entries.”
