Arriva attended a meeting hosted by local MP Dean Russell to discuss the changes to local bus services in Watford and to share updates on the routes that they operate across Watford.
Having been contacted by many local residents who had been left feeling frustrated at recent changes to the Arriva timetable, Watford MP Dean Russell arranged for two Arriva representatives to meet with constituents so that their questions could we answered, and their concerns addressed directly.
Dean said “The meeting was very productive, and it was helpful for all involved that constituents were able to put their questions and concerns to Arriva in person. So many people rely on public transport to get to work, to do their shopping, to visit family or to attend GP appointments. It is imperative that services are reliable and on time.
"I will be following up with residents to ensure that the improvements that were discussed have been successfully implemented.
"I would also like to put on record my thanks to Watford Palace Theatre for opening up their premises to the community for the meeting.”
