Dean Russell MP joined leading Consultants, Doctors, GPs as well as Jim McManus, Director of Public Health for Hertfordshire, in a webinar to dispel myths around the Covid-19 vaccines.
Topics included understanding hesitancy, BAME communities, potential side-effects, the 12-week gap between doses as well as children and pregnancy.
Watford's MP said "it is really important that we understand why certain people have concerns, and that we listen to the experts. The vaccine is our way out of lockdown but we need to ensure high uptake.
It was fantastic to hear from so many amazing professionals from various health departments to reassure people and to also explain why the vaccine is so important."
