Dean Russell MP joined other local representatives to mark Armistice Day.
Speaking after the event, Watford's MP said "it is really important that we remember the sacrifice made by millions of men and women who gave their lives to defend our freedom.
It was an honour to lay a wreath and to remember the courage shown by our Armed Forces, those that gave their lives - but also our veterans and those currently serving.
Whilst this year's ceremony was scaled back, it was just as poignant and moving."
