Dean Russell spoke in a Westminster Hall Debate on the important topic of how to improve efficiency in the NHS.
In his intervention, Dean emphasised the importance of putting patient experience and patient care at the centre of the pursuit of improving efficiency in the NHS. He explained that technology is crucial to achieving this objective over the coming years as, when it is used correctly, technology can ensure that we create a health service, "that's efficient, that's effective, that has patient outcomes and the heart of it, but ultimately, creates a superior patient experience that helps everybody and is free at the point of use."
