Health & Social Care Committee: Supporting Young People Through Mental Health Crises

Dean Russell MP asks the panel about how best to support young people and their families through an ongoing mental health crisis, and how to prevent more self-harm and suicide.

The panel includes Julie Bentley, CEO at Samaritans, Professor Louis Appleby, Professor of Psychiatry and National Confidential Inquiry into Suicide and Safety in Mental Health at University of Manchester, and Mark Rowland, CEO and member of National Suicide Prevention Strategy Advisory at Mental Health Foundation.
